Jacek Soliński - painter, graphic artist, painter, poet and publisher. Born in 1957 in Bydgoszcz. Graduated from the Leon Wyczółkowski State Complex of Art Schools in Bydgoszcz and theology at the Primate's Institute of Christian Culture in Bydgoszcz. Since 1979, together with Jan Kaja, he has been running the Author's Gallery, which is one of the first, and thus the oldest, private art galleries in Poland. The gallery is also a publishing house, publishing exhibition catalogs, unique art books, but also critical texts, essays, poetry, prose, philosophical books and monographs. Religious themes are very present in his work.
