Dimensions in frame: 43.5 cm x 34 cm.

The sketch was created in 1920 in Luslawice - a village located in a

hilly area on the right bank of the Dunajec River. InLusławice there was

at the time there was a magnificent manor house, in which the Malczewski family took an interest.

The artist probably visited Luslawice only from about 1919,

spending there initially only in the summer months, and over time

remain there for longer periods, lasting from spring through autumn.

The work is described and signed above thecomposition: "May 7 Luslawice 1920 JMalczewski" (original signature,

author's signature).

Condition of preservation: very good.

Picture framed in convex gold-colored frame with beige passe partout with

gilded inner edge.
