Ingrid Ledent (born 1955 in Brasschaat). Prominent Belgian artist. She studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp.
She completed her diploma in 1978. Since then she has participated in many graphic art exhibitions at home and abroad. She has won many awards given at international graphic arts exhibitions around the world.
In 2006, she was awarded the Grand Prix of the International Triennale of Graphics in Cracow. In 2009, the International Cultural Center in Cracow prepared a solo exhibition of Ingrid Ledent. The exhibition, titled "Continuity of Memory," presented more than 50 works, which were awe-inspiring with their perfect combination of lithography and digital printing. The artist is a professor at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts.
She has taught art workshops at several Polish art colleges.
