Graduate of the State Institute of Fine Arts in Lviv. He made his debut as a caricaturist in 1938, and settled in Warsaw after the war. He created posters, satirical drawings and book illustrations. In addition to his artwork, he engaged in art criticism, was a regular contributor to "Życie Warszawy" and wrote books on the visual arts. Over the years, he creates satirical illustrations for Rzeczpospolita, Stańczyk, Szpileki. He participated in exhibitions at home and abroad, winning awards. He was also involved in easel painting and lithography. He was buried at the Powązki Military Cemetery in Warsaw. He was awarded, among other honors, the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta.
