Henryk Feilhauer (Czechowice-Dziedzice 1942- Bad Salzdetfurth, Germany 1999) - painter, graphic artist. From 1960 to 1965 he studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, under the direction of Jerzy Hoppen and Wojciech Jakubowski, among others. He was a versatile artist, working in printmaking, painting, drawing, creating collages and practicing applied art. Above all, however, he is known for his masterful copperplates. He was one of the most outstanding European creators of exlibris and small graphic forms. His works adorn the best collections. At the current exhibition we can admire about 80 ex-librises and prints from Mieczyslaw Bielen's collection. They were previously presented at the Warsaw Exlibris Gallery at an exhibition held in February 2009 on the tenth anniversary of the artist's death.
