He was involved in drawing and painting but also in other arts such as poetry. Specific art, saturated with eroticism so strongly that he was often referred to by the pseudonym Marquis von Bayros instead of the name Franz von Bayros, although the artist himself used the pseudonym Choisy Le Conin. Bayros' works, in addition to their shocking content often hooked on various fetishes, carried a really high artistry, as evidenced by the fact that at the age of 17 the young Bayros passed the exams to the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts.
von Bayros' most famous work was the illustrations for the series "Erzählungen am Toilettentische." The series of erotic illustrations created in 1911 drew the attention of German authorities. The artist was expelled from Germany for moral offense, forcing him to return to Vienna.
