Biography
Ewa Juszkiewicz (1984) is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, she received her doctorate at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. She is the winner of, among others, the Format magazine award at the 3rd Youth Art Festival in Szczecin Przeciąg, the Grand Prix at the Bielska Jesień 2013 Painting Biennale, the special prize of the Artistic Journey of Hestia competition, the Grand Prix at TheOneMinutes competition and the 3rd Prize at the Multimedia Szajna Festival 2010. She is a scholarship holder of the Marshal of the Pomorskie Voivodeship (2014) and a participant of the Pienków International Artistic Workshops. Ewa Juszkiewicz's work in solo and solo exhibitions has been presented by institutions such as Almine Rech Gallery (Paris, 2019), Gagosian (New York, 2019), Cabinet (Milan, 2019), Galerie Rolando Anselmi (Berlin, 2018), Zachęta National Gallery of Art (Warsaw, 2018), MSN (Warsaw, 2017), Arsenal Gallery (Bialystok, 2016), National Art Gallery of China (Beijing, 2015), Christie's Ryder Street Gallery (London, 2014), MOCAK (Krakow, 2013). Her works are in the collections of the MSN in Warsaw, the National Museum in Gdansk, the Zachęta Sztuki Współczesnej in Szczecin, the Zachęta Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Olsztyn, the Bielska BWA Gallery and in private collections in Poland, Germany, the United States and Italy.
