Egon Schiele (born June 12, 1890 in Tulln an der Donau, died October 31, 1918 in Vienna) - Austrian painter and printmaker. He developed an individual style, inspired by Art Nouveau. Author of expressive nudes, self-portraits and portraits, and landscapes. He was accused of spreading pornography.His oeuvre includes portraits, self-portraits, landscapes and nudes. In his work he developed an individual style, inspired by Art Nouveau characterized by twisted, deformed body shapes and expressive, angular lines.In his studies of the human body he showed the most intimate details. For his nudes, he created his own mixed technique of using watercolors, pencils, charcoal within a single work on paper, additionally using gouache as well.
