Danuta Leszczyńska-Kluza - Polish painter born in 1926 in Przemyśl. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (diploma in 1952 in the studio of Prof. Zbigniew Pronaszko). She was a prominent figure in the Krakow visual arts community. Her significant body of work in drawing, printmaking and painting was presented at more than 50 individual exhibitions at home and abroad and several hundred group exhibitions. The artist's works can be found in 35 museum collections, including Albertina Graphische Sammlung in Vienna, National Library in Warsaw, Jagiellonian Library in Krakow, Frederikshavn Kunstmuseum, Kinokuniya Gallery in Tokyo, Municipal Art Gallery in Lodz, National Museums in Warsaw, Krakow, Kielce, Wroclaw, Poznan, National Museet in Stockholm, Národni Galerie in Prague, The Library of Congress in Washington and many others.
