The artist was born in London. Studied at the Academy in Leipzig. Known as a creator of exlibrises. He was a book illustrator, among other things, in the 1930s he illustrated "Folk Tales of Pomerania and Rügen." After the war he worked for a book publishing house in Leipzig. Very good condition.
