Etching, paper, 46 x 35 cm, plate impression: 24 x 21 cm. Good condition.

Carl Steffeck is a well-known painter who specialized in depicting dogs and horses. He was a professor and rector of the Academy of Art in Königsberg. In 1880 he made the painting "Sitting Spitz", transferred to a graphic plate.
