BORSUKIEWICZ Jerzy [1912-1985] graphic artist, draughtsman, painter, pedagogue, associated since 1918 with Poznan and since 1945 with Miedzychod. In 1935, he received a degree in graphic design from the State School of Decorative Arts and Artistic Industry in Poznan (under Prof. J. Wroniecki and K. Mondral). He began his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw before the outbreak of World War II, and graduated in 1958 (diploma from Prof. W.Waśkowski's Graphic Arts Department). He practiced woodcut, linocut and lithography. He participated in about 50 exhibitions (including 9 individual exhibitions).
