BIELIŃSKI Witold (1879-1944) - "For a new crop". Drawing on cart. 28.5x21.5 cm : pen, ink, colored in watercolor and gouache, handwritten signature and title under the composition.
Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, 1905-1910, sculpture under K. Laszczka and painting under L. Wyczółkowski, T. Axentowicz and J. Mehoffer. Awarded for his medallic works, distinguished by their subtle modeling and accurate characterization of images (see SAP 1, 159), he repeatedly exhibited painting works at the Cracow Society of Friends of Fine Arts and the Warsaw Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts.
