Biography
Painter and creator of painting and video installations. He was born in 1984 in Siewierz. Graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, where he received his diploma in the studio of Prof. Andrzej Bednarczyk and Prof. Witold Stelmachniewicz in 2009. He was a member of the Cracow group Silnia. He lives and works in Warsaw.
Four-time scholarship recipient of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. He participated, among others, in the 6th Triennial of Young Art in Oronsko and the 10th Geppert Competition in Wroclaw. In 2013 and 2015, he received honorable mentions at the 41st and 42nd Biennale of Painting "Bielska Jesień". His works have been exhibited in major state institutions, including: State Art Gallery in Sopot (solo exhibition), Center for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw (solo exhibition), Bunkier Sztuki Contemporary Art Gallery in Cracow (solo exhibition), MOCAK Museum of Contemporary Art in Cracow, Labirynt Gallery in Lu-blin, and Znaki Czasu Contemporary Art Center in Toruń. His works are in the collection of, among others: National Museum in Gdansk, State Art Gallery in Sopot, Bunkier Sztuki Contemporary Art Gallery in Cracow and Polish Sculpture Center in Oronsko.
