Bartos Saro
Bartos Saro's life is very orderly, organized, but not in a restricted way. So are his paintings. He is a designer and artist by training. He started out in modern design. His fascination with structures and materials in design eventually won out, and his passion led him to painting matter. He used to run a design studio in the capital, but eventually moved to a quieter place in the woods where he can paint and nurture his Japanese maples.
He became an abstractionist. In his work, he focuses on the structure of materials, preferring to work in mixed techniques. Expressively displaying weight and movement, Bartosz loves to create tension and drama, as he believes there is spirit in matter - shapes and forms can reflect the underlying experience of emotions. According to him, only abstractionists can fully present the full spectrum of emotions.
Bartos' abstractionist sense of matter is full of concern for texture. He paints with thick layers of raw paint. In this way, he achieves unique textures, the unique beauty of which he enriches with drawing. Intense colors emphasize the abstractionist approach to the subject - the range of colors is unique, full of expression and emotion.
He has exhibited his works at European art salons in Poland, Spain, France, Belgium and the UK. He cooperates with international galleries and showrooms offering modern design. He carefully selects paintings for the interiors in which they are to be displayed. He wants his art to be treated decoratively, as part of the living environment. Just as he values the nature among which we live.
