Biography
Andrzej Kalina is a Polish graphic artist and illustrator. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the Workshop Graphics Studio of Professor Andrzej Rudzinski. In his graphic techniques he goes beyond traditional tools and materials. Andrzej Kalina's works are in the collections of museums and galleries: Szczecin, Gdansk, Walbrzych, Katowice, Wloclawek, Warsaw (Studio Gallery, Archdiocesan Museum, Museum of Independence, Zachęta National Gallery of Art), Krakow (Archdiocesan Museum), Radom (Museum of Contemporary Art, Center for Contemporary Art Elektrownia), Torun (Wozownia Contemporary Art Gallery), Lodz (City Art Gallery), England (London - The British Museum), Italy (Catania - instituto per la Cultura e L'Arte), USA (New York - Museum of Modern Art), Germany (Museum in Frankfurt).
