Anatoliy Marchuk, born in 1956, is a graduate of the Kyiv State Art Institute and a member of the National Union of Painters of Ukraine.
The artist has participated in more than 150 exhibitions, including 40 solo exhibitions at home and abroad.
Awarded at many competitions and exhibitions , including the Second International Poster Contest in Moscow (1985), "Ukraine-95" in Munich (1995), the Lviv International Autumn Salon (2000 and 2002), he has regularly exhibited in German galleries of contemporary art for many years.
A versatile painter, he does oil painting: figurative, paints still life, landscapes and abstractions. He also creates prints.
Distinguished Artist Painter of Ukraine (2006). Author of more than 500 publications and protagonist of numerous television programs, he is described in the Encyclopedia of Modern Ukraine.
Anatoly's paintings are in the collections of museums, contemporary art galleries and private collections of Ukraine, Poland, Germany, USA, Canada and Australia.
