About the Author:
Agnieszka Piechowska was born in 1962. She studied Art History at the University of Warsaw. Art became her passion, realized in her numerous travels in China Thailand, Hawaii, Brazil, Zanzibar, Tanzania, Indonesia Egypt, Morocco, and of course Europe and the U.S. These places, with their inherent color, light and space, made her realize that she "thinks with color".
"A realistic rose never turned me on, but the color of the rose, to get it, to capture the essence of the rose, that's always driven me," - Piechowska says.
