17th-century copy of the popular print by Nicolas Beatrizet (1515 – ca. 1566) after Michaleangelo, published by Philippe Thomassin and subsequently by Giovanni Giacomo De Rossi (1627 - 1691) in 1649. Bibliography: Mariani, La Fortuna di Michelangelo, n. 19

Impression with little contrasts, in the lower right part one can see the movement of the matrix during the printing process. Printed on laid paper with watermark. Good condition, trimmed and counterfounded.
