Adam Kwaśny (born 1953) is one of the most respected and popular artists among collectors of Polish graphics. He completed his artistic studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. He defended his diploma in 1979 in the studio of Leszek Rózga. The artist masterfully uses the noble technique of etching. Adam Kwaśny is strongly connected with Polish tradition and the Polish landscape. He enjoys depicting historic manor houses in gardens surrounded by mallows and country flowers. He makes engravings with grasses and field vegetation in the aura of a Polish summer. He operates with colors of warm greens, yellows and light purples. Among his prints we can also find monochromatic black and white representations of towns and cities close to him - Lodz, Warsaw, Czestochowa, Szczyrk.
