Postal correspondence field card form. 9x14 cm, stamped: "Headquarters of the 3rd Baon of the 2nd Regiment of the Polish Legion", sent as Feldpost No. 378 (field post of the 2nd Brigade) with the date on the stamp of 21 IX 1916. Bergel informs his uncle about the current situation and the new pattern of the postcard ("I have sent my Uncle, in turn, as a souvenir of the freshest type of field postcard, which has the privilege. that even if the usual postal traffic is stopped, it can be sent, but for that nothing can be written on it except the address. With me so far nothing new"). Very good condition.
R. Bergel (1894-1937) - poet, literary critic, playwright, captain of the Polish Army, activist of the "Promienists", during World War I in the 2nd infantry regiment of the Legions, participant in the battle of Kaniów in 1918. Polish language teacher at the Myślenice Gymnasium, author of post-Romantic poems dedicated to the Legions.
J. S. Płatkowski (1864-1938) - writer, secretary of the magistrate, independence activist in Myslenice, author of numerous works for folk scenes written in the local dialect.
