Among the events mentioned, the event highlighted was the performance of the cabaret "Piwnica pod Baranami". On the back in pencil in Wieslaw Dymny's hand a poem (3 stanzas) for his wife, Barbara Nawratowicz: "Once an almond tree blossomed, a giant tree quite new.... he chopped hewn brutally until he made an oak bedroom just in time". As the poem is without the Author's signature, the poster is accompanied by a letter from Barbara Nawratowicz confirming Wieslaw Dymny's authorship. Wieslaw Dymny (1936-1978), Polish visual artist, actor, screenwriter, poet, prose writer and satirist, co-founder of Piwnica pod Baranami. Barbara Nawratowicz-Stuart (b. 1932), Polish actress, cabaret artist and radio journalist, from 1956 to 1965 one of the founders and first stars of Piwnica pod Baranami, from 1965 to 1994 author of programs and correspondent of the Polish Broadcasting Service of Radio Free Europe. 9149/2
