Wladyslaw Kafel (1873-1950) - born and died in Krakow, in 1897 he defended his doctorate at the Jagiellonian University, from one thousand 1893 he served in the Austrian army as a doctor, among other things as a hospital commandant near Insbruck. In the Polish Army he volunteered first in Przemyśl then in Zamosc later in Lublin and Cracow. In Zamosc he was commandant of a military hospital, expanded it and carried out evacuation for the time of danger in 1920.
Edward Doliwa-Falkowski (1913 - 1998) - Polish photographer. Graduated from the Warsaw Agricultural University, participated in fighting during the defensive war, soldier of the Home Army, participant in the Warsaw Uprising. Initiated the establishment of the Union of Polish Artists Photographers in 1946.
