Postcard issued to commemorate the date of the 1918-1919 Greater Poland Uprising, which broke out on December 27, 1918. Poles demanded the return of the lands remaining under Prussian rule within the Poznan Province to Poland, already consolidating independence at that time. The insurrection ended with the success of Polish troops.
