Postal correspondence field card form. 9x14 cm, stamped: "Command of the I. Brigade of the Polish Legions", dated. June 24, 1916.Świtalski informs his wife of the current situation ("We are completely unattached here so everyone is healthy"). Trace of a half fold, otherwise very good condition.
K. Świtalski (1886-1962) - officer of the Riflemen's Association, during the First World War on the staff of the First Brigade of the Legions, in the Second Republic one of the closest associates of Marshal Jozef Pilsudski, Colonel of the Polish Army, Minister of Religious Denominations and Public Enlightenment, Prime Minister, Governor of Cracow, Senator, Speaker of the Second Polish Sejm, in 1939-1945 in German captivity.
