Obverse: profile of the face to the left. On the right the contour of a violin and the inscription XVI F.P.P. SŁUPSK 1952. At the bottom the signature of J.Markiewicz. The medal appears in the Catalogue of medals of the State Mint 1979- 1983 under item 546. The medal was minted on the occasion of a competition held on the 100th anniversary of Karol Szymanowski's birth. Condition of preservation very good.
