Tomaszewski 330. sports poster on sheet 89.3x62 cm. Two stylized silhouettes of football players fighting over a ball. The poster design was created in 1948, but was not realized in print at the time, although it won first prize in a national competition for an Olympic poster. The organizers of the exhibition "Affiches de Pologne 1945-1988: Hommage à Henryk Tomaszewski" presented at the Centre de la Gravure in Belgium's La Louviere in 1989 published a silkscreen edition of the poster, limited to 100 pieces, with the author's permission. It was his first edition. Each print was hand-signed by H. Tomaszewski and given an individual number. This copy bears the number 91/100. Later, after the artist's death, a mass edition was offset printed for IKEA in a larger format and inferior quality. Slight crease at the top of the sheet, otherwise very good condition.
