Original poster design, made using mixed technique (mainly tempera and ink), on cardboard (or on paper glued to cardboard), 48.3 x 34.8 cm.
Signature in ink at center left: F. Starowieyski. 73.
Verso: 2 notes, one for the publisher of the poster, in pink crayon, the other is a dedication in pencil from the artist to M.P.[Maciej Maria Putowski (1936-2020) - set designer, interior decorator, lecturer at PWSFTviT in Lodz. In 2017 he received the Polish Filmmakers Association Award for outstanding artistic achievement. M.M.P. was the author of interior decorations for, among others, "Sanatorium Under the Sign of the Hourglass" by W.J. Has in 1973]; besides the w.w., a blue marker erased the stamp.
a) in crayon: "Please return the original!!! | Please cover black with navy blue on the outlines!!! Black otherwise comes out gray | FStarowieyski"
b) in pencil: "The censors invited a rabbi to check the Jewish letters | the rabbi having watched said: and who of Mr. F.'s friends worked in this film; Mr. Maciej Putowski: but it is not Jewish letters, but M.P. | F!S! 1688"
Condition: minor creases(mostly in margins), pin holes (top), bottom right corner glued (corrections(?) applied), some discoloration/spots, 2-3 larger creases,
