Painter associated with the École de Paris community. He studied in Munich and Paris. He traveled extensively in Europe, visiting England, Spain, France, Italy, he also visited other continents, traveling to India, North Africa, Australia and New Zealand. He made his debut in Paris in 1900 with a solo exhibition at the Bernheim-Jeune gallery. From 1911 he lived permanently in Paris, where he participated in numerous exhibitions. His paintings are characterized by vivid, saturated colors and rich painterly textures. The artist's works are currently in the collections of French museums and private collections.
