The series Permeation is the result of Plewinski'screativesearch. In it, the artist combines nudes with photographs showing landscapes -bothurban scenes and nature. Sometimes the human body forms a harmonious composition with the added view, as in the work shown, sometimes the combination creates a contrast emphasizing the fragility of human existence.
BIO
One of the most prominent Polish photographers. Specializes primarily in portrait and theatrical photography. Graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Cracow University of Technology. A long-time associate of the Cracow magazine "Przekrój", inwhichhe published many photo essays, fashion photos and, above all, is the author of more than 500 covers. Since 1959 he has been involved in theater photography. He worked with various theaters documenting performances and portraying their creators. For the longest time he was associated with the Old Theater in Cracow. He has published several albumsof his work, and has won manyawards. He has participated in numerous individual and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including the famous ones - Subjective Photography of 1968 and Photographers in Search of 1971. Member of ZPAF. He received the Excellence title of FIAP. Plewinski's works are in numerous public and private collections.
