BIO:
Tomasz Wysocki. Born 1990, graduate of the Photography Department of the Film School in Lodz.
(2019). Represented from 2015-2020 by Leica 6x7 Gallery Warsaw.
He mainly deals with staged photography giving the opportunity to create "ideal" imaginary worlds. Each element of the photographic set is precisely arranged, and the photographs are realized without image manipulation or photomontage. The works escape the limitations of one medium and remain at the intersection of photography, sculpture and painting.
He has participated in group and solo exhibitions in Poland, New York, Paris, Beijing, Vienna, Copenhagen, Berlin, Milan. Recipient of the Prize of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and a scholarship from the Minister of Science (2014, 2016).
