Stalag I A - German prisoner of war camp for non-commissioned officers and privates of the land forces in the northern part of the former German Stablack training ground, located in present-day Stablawki and Kaminsk in the municipality of Górowo Ilaweckie in the Bartoszyce district of the Warmian-Masurian province, and partially in the vicinity of the town of Dolgorukovo in the Königsberg region. During its operation in 1939-1945, it held some 255,000 prisoners of war from all over Europe, the largest camp in the former East Prussia.
