He made his debut with screenplays for the films "Innocent Sorcerers" and "Knife in the Water"; as a director his filmography includes the pictures "Rysopis", "Walkover", "Hands Up", "At the Very Bottom", "Scream", "Fucha", "Four Nights with Anna" and "Essential Killing". Winner of numerous international and national art awards.
