Francesco Nullo's 50th Border Rifle Infantry Regiment (50 pp) - an infantry unit of the Polish Army in France and the Polish Army of the Second Republic. In October 1921, the regiment was excluded from the 13th ID and subordinated to the commander of the newly formed 27th Infantry Division. The city of Kowel, lying on the territory of the Corps District No. II (the 3rd baron was stationed in Sarny), was designated as the peaceful garrison.On May 19, 1927, the Minister of Military Affairs, Marshal of Poland Jozef Pilsudski, established and approved May 11 as the date of the regimental holiday. The regiment celebrated its holiday on the anniversary of the unit's return to the Fatherland in 1919. (Wikipedia).
