Piotr Bernacki - born September 22, 1954 in Tarnow, Poland. Graduate of the Cracow University of Economics. Member of the Tarnów Photographic Society since 1978. He held many positions in it, was also its president for several terms. He worked for the Polish Federation of Photographic Associations, being its vice-president.
In 1990, the Brussels-based Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique. awarded him the title Artiste FIAP (AFIAP). He also holds the title of PFSF Artist Photographer, a bronze and silver badge of the PFSF, a medal for 150 years of photography, and the decorations "Meritorious Cultural Activist" and "Meritorious for Tarnów Province."
He is a member of the elite ASSOCIATION OF POLISH PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTISTS.
He has been involved in photography since 1971 and has participated in more than a hundred exhibitions, foreign and domestic, including in the United States, Great Britain, Holland, Belgium, Turkey, Japan, France, Czechoslovakia, the former USSR, New Zealand, Hungary, Italy and Taiwan. He works in creative and applied photography,
He photographs architecture, landscape, nude and portrait. He is the author of a large collection of photographs of the Tatra Mountains.
