On the reverse a letter to the family sent by J. Lapinski, dated. Vienna, 31.03.1916.
The letter is written to the family, from a unit for war convalescents. The author of the letter mentions, among other things, the visit of Jozef Pilsudski ("Pilsudski was with us last week and took pictures of himself at the exit of the command").

The photo shows, among others, Boleslaw Wieniawa-Dlugoszowski (in the foreground, second from the Marshal's right).
