Janusz Jerzy Gajos (born September 23, 1939 in Dąbrowa Górnicza) - Polish theater and film actor; professor of theater arts, educator and photographer. Considered one of the most outstanding Polish actors Winner of many awards and honors, including audience awards and decorations. Doctor honoris causa of the Lodz Film School. He is a six-time winner of the prestigious film award "Eagles" and awards given by the jury of the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. Winner of five Wiktor and one Super Wiktor - awards with which outstanding personalities of the small screen are honored. At the 40th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia he was honored with the Diamond Lions - award for the best actor of the 40th anniversary. Knight of the Order of Polonia Restituta Second Class, decorated with the Gold Medal ''Zasłużony Kulturze Gloria Artis''.
