Pierściński, in love with the rhythms of the Kielcefields, reachedfor various techniques to convey his experiences and emotions. Moving away from documenting the geometry of the landscape, he tirelessly experimented. An expression of theseexplorations is, among others, the series Reconstructing the Landscape MULTIPLICATIONS, inwhichhe arrangedcut-out elements of the landscape into geometric patterns.

Photographer, publicist, critic and theoretician of photography, organizer of the Polish landscape photographic movement, commissioner ofall-Polandlandscape photography exhibitions, editor and co-author of, among others, the albums Mistrzowie Polskiego Pejzażu (2000) and Kielecka Szkoła Krajobrazu (2002). Creator, organizer and animator of the Kielce School of Landscape. Graduate of civil engineering at Warsaw University of Technology. Member of ZPAF since 1964, honorary member since 1982. Honorary President of the Świętokrzyskie District of ZPAF. Winner of numerous medals,awardsand diplomas, he has published more than a dozen individual albums, including Struktury (1982), Między Wisłą aPilica (2001) and Świętokrzyskie (2004). Numerous publications in the world press and almanacs. Author oftexts, critical studies andtextsfor exhibition catalogs. An anthology of his authorialtextsfrom 1975-2004, Time of the Landscape, was published in 2004. Author and participant in hundreds of solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad. His works are in private collections and museum collections of many countries.
