Hala Kominy Tylkowe - a former mountain pasture between the Koscieliska Valley and the Chocholowska Valley, and above the Lejowa Valley in the Western Tatras. It is located on the northern slopes of Kominiarski Wierch, between the slopes of Stolen, Diabliniec and Wielki Opalony Wierch. It included Wyżnia and Niżnia Polana Kominiarska, Przysłop Kominiarski and Kominiarska Rówień and Kominiarska Polanka. According to highlanders, the name of the hall comes from the name of one of its first owners (Tylka) and from the crags and chimney-like holes reportedly occurring in it. The huts stood on Przysłop Kominiarski and on Niżniej Polana Kominiarska. (Wikipedia).
H. Poddębski (1890-1945) - prominent Warsaw photographer. From 1911, he was associated with the Polish Landscape Society, where he headed the photographic studio for many years. In 1934 his archive numbered more than 6,000 glass plates. In the 1930s he photographed with a small-image "Leica" camera. Since 1925 he ran a well-known photographic atelier at 25 Marszalkowska Street in Warsaw. His works were highly appreciated at exhibitions at home and abroad - he received many awards and prizes.
