[MOUNTAINS - CarpathianMountains - BeskidyMountains - Rymanow Zdroj - "Willa pod Matką Boską" - scenic, situational photograph - shot in cabinet format]. [not before 1885]. Photograph form. 9.9x14.3 cm on original backing form. 10.8x16.7 cm, by J[ózef] Eder in Lviv.
Depicts a view of a villa-pension with 34 comfortably furnished rooms, 3 spacious verandas and balconies, a canteen and 2 kitchens. Photo pasted on original cardboard backing. On the right margin of the backing gilt print: J. Eder in Lviv". Identification inscription in pencil on the back. Local stains and abrasions, otherwise good condition.
J. Eder (1831-1903) - Lviv photographer, owner of an establishment in the English Hotel in 1861-1888. He ran branches in Stanislawow, Jassy, Kolomyia, Zakopane.
