Maciej Baranowski (1937-2008). Mountaineer, mountaineer, alpine skier, passionate photographer. In 1961 he was a participant in an expedition to the Caucasus, he traversed the difficult wall of the Ultuhar peak - 4302 meters above sea level. In 1962 he took part in a Polish expedition to the Hindu Kush mountains in Afghanistan. He reached the summit of Koh e Tez (6995 m). In later years, he climbed in the Tatras and the Alps, practiced alpine skiing in the Tatras, as well as in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
