The portrayed person is shown in bust. Photo glued on cardboard backing. Inscription in the lower right part of the composition: "photo Z. and R. Hubers Lviv". Frontispiece a bit rubbed, especially in the lower margin and corners, a bulge in the lower right corner, nevertheless good condition overall.
A. Todschindler (March 1, 1845 - April 26, 1937) - Lviv printer and activist in the labor movement. He began his professional work in the field of printing in the Government Printing House in Lviv in IV 1864 with the profession of typesetter. Also from this profession in 1873 he began working at the First Union Printing House. As early as 1870 he was a member of the statute committee and co-author of the statute of the printing house. From 1872 he was a member of the Supervisory Board, from 1875 he sat on the board of directors of the printing house; he remained a member of the board until his death. On June 15, 1879 he took over as director of the First Union Printing House. Throughout his life he was actively involved in the work of numerous professional organizations, including the Association of Mutual Aid of Printers, the Progressive Society of Lviv Printers, and the Association of Lviv Printers. Zofia and Rudolf Hub er - in 1906 Rudolf Huber married Zofia (née Trzemeska), daughter and owner of one of Lviv's most famous photographic establishments. Between 1906 and 1934, together (especially in the field of portrait photography) they ran an atelier at 5 3 Maja Street and a branch at 9 Lychakowska Street.
