A near perfect photo from 1928, taken at the Wojucki factory in Bydgoszcz.

Lieutenant Marian Zawarczyński ultimately major, in the uniform of the 50th Regiment.

Knight of the Virtuti Militari, conspiratorial commander in charge of the Operation Tempest in the Siedlce district, alias "Ziemowit". Murdered by the Soviets.
