[PolishLEGIONS - battles and daily life - situational photographs]. [1915/1916]. Set of 36 glass plates form. ca. 4.5x6 cm, of unknown authorship.
The plates placed in fragments of envelopes, some handwritten and numbered. Handwritten identification descriptions next to 12 plates, probably by the photographer's hand, including information about the conditions under which the photos were taken. On one (43) there is a detailed instruction: "Look through the aperture at the object as darkly as possible, but so that it is clearly visible. Expose 1. to Film and normal film the whole digit --- known and Ultra 1/2 time. 2. apartment photos 3 x longer as digit shown. 3. Scar photos: beyond 8 meters normal exposure time shown. Between 8 - 4 meters 2 x digit shown. Closer than 4 meters 3 x the digit shown.".
