J. Iwaszkiewicz (1894-1980) - prose writer, poet, essayist, translator. Co-founder of the Skamander poetic group. Contributor to "Wiadomości Literackie", long-time editor-in-chief of "Twórczość" and president of the Polish Literary Association.
