The first photograph shows the figure of General Andrzej Galica (seated in the center), the founder of the formation of the Podhale Riflemen. On the right (from the general) sits Jozef Kojs, former head of the Chocholow municipality.
Andrzej Galica (1873-1945) - brigadier general of the Polish Army, legionary, participant in the struggle for independence of the Second Republic, creator of the formation of the Podhale Riflemen, engineer, politician, member of the Polish Parliament, member of the Main Collegiate Court of the Association of Polish Legionaries since 1936, member of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the National Unity Camp in 1939, regional activist of the Podhale movement, writer. Władysław Wachulski (1895-1985) - Polish photographer. Most of his life was professionally associated with Chocholow, where he ran a photographic studio.
