Lipowiec Castle - the ruins of the castle of the bishops of Cracow located in Jura Krakowsko-Czestochowska, built in the system of the so-called Eagles' Nests, in the village of Wygiełzów in the Małopolska province, Chrzanów county. The castle is located on a limestone hill (362 meters above sea level) of the same name, which is part of the Tenczyński Hump, in the area of the "Lipowiec" nature reserve, adjacent to the villages of Wygiełzów and Babice. H. Poddębski (1890-1945) - prominent Warsaw photographer. Since 1911 he was associated with the Polish Landscape Society, where he headed the photographic studio for many years. In 1934 his archive numbered more than 6,000 glass plates. In the 1930s he photographed with a small-image "Leica" camera. From 1925 he ran a well-known photographic atelier at 25 Marszalkowska Street in Warsaw. His works were highly appreciated at exhibitions at home and abroad - he received many awards and prizes.
