M. Pawlikowski (1920-1978) - Polish theater, film, television and radio actor, director, bombardier sergeant of the Polish Air Force in Great Britain. He was twice awarded the Cross of Valor. In August 1945, he returned to Poland. He performed in theaters in Kielce, but mainly in Warsaw theaters: Classical, Powszechny, National, Ateneum, Wspolczesny, Syrena, Polski and Nowy. In 1950 he made his film debut in the film Warsaw Premiere, directed by Jan Rybkowski. He became popular for his role as Zagloba in Pan Wołodyjowski and in the series The Adventures of Mr. Michael, as well as hosting Podwieczorku przy mikrofonie. His last film role was in the thriller comedy The Stolen Collection of Jan Batory. The film premiered in 1979, after the actor's death (Wikipedia).
The film "Pan Wolodyjowski " - a 1968 Polish color feature film by Jerzy Hoffman, based on Henryk Sienkiewicz's novel of the same title. The black-and-white TV series "The Adventures of Mr. Michael" was filmed simultaneously, using the same locations and props (Wikipedia).
