Around 1965, the artist, through Adam Hoffmann, became friends with the artists: Maciej Bieniasz, Zbylut Grzywacz, Barbara Skąpska and Jacek Waltos, with whom he founded the Wprost group in 1966. The artist collaborated with the group throughout its twenty years of activity, and of all its members, he most strongly revealed his critical attitude to the political situation of the time.
