oil on canvas, 50 cm x 70 cm
Robert Wisniewski is a soldier by profession, but he has never been interested in painting battle scenes, tanks or soldiers with guns in their hands. Instead of Leopards and sabers in his paintings there is magic, symbolism, elements of mythology, sometimes animals. From the beginning he liked to paint landscapes, still life or marine. He says that in order to reach some level in this profession, one needs to spend 10,000 hours at the easel, and he has done this "apprenticeship" long ago. Recently, I have fallen in love with magic realism. He is fascinated by the trend that appeals to the imagination of the artist and exposes the strange, surprising, unusual, refers to legends and myths. There's a bit of magic in it, a bit of symbolism.
